Create a new CAS Object.

CAS lets you create new objects in Reports and Programs and any subfolder. The System Folders subfolder lets you create the item associated with that folder type. User defined subfolder allow you create any new Object, Report or Program type item.

Create a new CAS Report

Go to the Reports and Programs or any user created subfolder and Right-click on the right pane. Select New->Report->CAS Report in the popup menu.

Create a new Column Statistics item

Go to the Reports and Programs. Expand the "System Folders" directory and select "Column Statistics". Right-click on the right pane. Select New->Report->CAS Report in the popup menu.

*You will notice the popup menu limits new items only to the ones allowed for that special folder.
